Position Description:
The Medical Stop-Loss Underwriter (UW) will analyze information on self-insurance applications, determine the risk of self-insuring a client, evaluate recommendations from underwriting software, contact field representatives, vendor partners, and others to obtain information, and determine appropriate accruals and amounts of coverage. UW will also work on new group ratings, member renewals, and plan pricing. UW is responsible for ensuring the JHP member experience is best-in-class and develops client loyalty through proactive outreach and support.
Location:
Home Office in Steubenville, Ohio (suburb of Pittsburgh, PA). Remote worksite is permitted for highly qualified candidates.
